Overview

Established since 1985, Rape Crisis South London changed its name from the Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) in 2012, with the advent of three other Rape Crisis Centres created to provide specialist support to women living in the North, East and West of London. We are a fully independent organisation based in Croydon providing a high standard of professional support to female survivors of sexual violence living anywhere South of the river Thames in addition to providing national support to women living anywhere in England and Wales through the National Rape Crisis Helpline.

 

BACP accredited therapy service offering professional and specialist long term therapy for female survivors from 5 years old, who have experienced any form of sexual violence however long ago, also therapeutic groups, body therapies, Advocacy Service (ISVAS) for survivors who are thinking about reporting and those who are engaged with the criminal justice system through to the trial. Outreach programme working with homeless, ex-offenders, women engaged in sex work, specialist violence against women Training Team offer workshops and advice to professionals, schools and universities. Services cover all 12 South London Boroughs. National Sexual Violence Helpline open 365 days a year 12 to 2.30, 3 to 5.30 and 7 to 9.30pm for survivors, families and friends of survivors. 0808 802 9999.
