Firinne, which is the Irish word for 'Truth’, was established in 1998 to address the issues of families who have been affected by state murder and violence. We represent and support victims/survivors of state violence in Co Fermanagh and its environs by providing appropriate, therapeutic and developmental based support within a safe environment, dealing with the past through truth recovery mechanisms, assisting individual healing, working towards equality and conflict resolution, and promoting and protecting human rights for all.
