Overview

The Harbour Centre is a specialist centre designed to help people who have been  raped and or sexually assaulted (with penetration)

What the service provides:

  • Speak to a Crisis Worker to discuss options
  • Medical examination on site to collect forensic evidence
  • Receive emotional and practical support and advice
  • Talk to someone about Sexually Transmitted Infections and get help and treatment
  • Be referred to a specialist counselling service
  • Talk to the police if the client wants to but it their choice
  • We can talk to the police on their behalf if the client would like us to  and can do so anonymously
  • Talk to an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor or Child/Young Person Advocate and receive ongoing support
