Overview

Swindon and Wiltshire Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) is a dedicated centre to support victims of sexual assault throughout Swindon & Wiltshire, whether they be men, women or children. Trained professionals can provide immediate medical care, a forensic examination, counselling and onward referral. The service is available, whether or not you wish to have Police involvement.

The service provides;

• Emergency contraception
• Pregnancy testing
• Crisis support from our specially trained team
• A risk and needs assessment and safety planning
• Sexual health advice
• A forensic medical examination
• Comfortable clothing (if yours have been taken for evidence)
• Toiletries and an opportunity to shower
• Space and time for you to decide what happens next.
