We offer free 1:1 Trauma counselling to people affected by crime. This is for the direct victim / survivour, witnesses or family members. The crime can be current, historical, reported or unreported. Our definition of 'crime' is wide and varied - the impact on the person is our focus. We have counsellors situated across Kent & Medway. The counselling is short term initially but is flexible depending on the person's situation. Our aim is to help someone overcome the impact left on them by the crime event and regain control over their lives. We offer the counselling to children aged 10-18 and adults with no upper age limit. We encourage self referrals but also accept professional referrals. We have counsellors who speak a number of different languages and we can access a signer as well. We also operate a helpline for people to find out more about how the counselling can help or ask other information.

Domestic Violence/Abuse, Sexual Violence/Abuse, Homicide, Modern Slavery/Trafficking, Child Sexual Exploitation/Abuse (CSE/CSA), Hate Crime, Forced Marriage/'Honour-Based' Violence, Fraud, Anti-Social Behaviour, Burglary, Stalking, Road Victims, Victims of Conflict, General Offences - (Violence, Theft, etc.), Terrorism, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
Counselling - varying times across the week, evenings and weekends. Helpline - Mon, Thurs, Sat 12noon - 3pm + Wed 7pm to 10pm.
