We run a women and children’s wellbeing centre in central Ipswich. This is a service for Suffolk and is open to all women and children. The centre provides a one-stop shop of advice and information for women and children (particularly those who are suffering or have suffered domestic abuse), whilst presenting an opportunity for all women and children across the county to develop new skills and come together within a safe and caring environment. We provide refuge accommodation to offer a safe, supported environment for women and their children requiring an emergency temporary home when they leave an abusive partner or family member.
Lighthouse Women’s Aid provides the following support services:
Emotional Support, Practical Help, Accommodation, Services for Children and Young People, Support Groups, Advocacy.
